BOAT WASHING AND EXTERIOR CLEANING

Seattle, Lake Union, Lake Washington, Bellevue, Kirkland, Edmonds, Kenmore, Everett, Des Moines

Imagine arriving at your boat and being able to step on and go because it's already clean! No more having to take the time to wash the boat so it's clean for your cruise or guests. Our boat washing services will keep your boat clean so you can spend more time using your boat, whether you take it out or use it as your happy hour landing pad!

Boat Washing Services

boat detailing seattle
We offer both one-time detailed boat washing done as needed, or recurring boat washing done every one, two, three or four weeks. Recurring boat washes are the best way to keep your boat clean year-round so it's ready for you anytime you want to enjoy it.

All boat washes include:
  • Hand washing the boat (we never use a pressure washer) from the waterline up using boat soap that doesn't strip wax
  • Washing away dirt and salt spray, bird or spider droppings and black water streaks
  • Scrubbing non-skid
  • Lifting up hatches and storage compartments to clean the gutter tracks and hatch edges
  • Wiping down in the cockpit or fly bridge area (flooring, seating, windows, helm station area)

If your boat is ceramic coated, we use a special boat soap that doesn't contain any wax.

Additional Boat Cleaning Services

We offer these additional services, as requested:
  • Clean canvas to remove dirt, mildew and bird dropping stains
  • Polish stainless rails, cleats and trim
  • Clean and polish plastic windows (Isinglass and Strataglass)
  • Clean and protect vinyl seats
  • Wash and detail dinghies and tenders
  • Deeper cleaning in the enclosed cockpit or fly bridge area - vacuuming, wiping down surfaces, cleaning Isinglass, storage compartments, cleaning under seat cushions and more.
I just paid the invoice for this job and wanted to let you know how pleased we are with the work! The washing and detailing of the exterior was THE BEST job that has ever been done on the boat. We bought our boat new 25 years ago and have had regular, monthly, professional cleanings done ever since. But this one takes the cake. The teak toe rails, hand rails, and trim are spotless. And the dodger looks like new again. All the little nooks and crannies that accumulate crud that no one ever seems to notice are all clean now. Please thank your crew for such excellent care and attention to detail!  -- Mark D (34 Hallberg-Rassy)

Boat Washing Prices

Our boat washing prices are very competitive with other detailing companies in the Seattle area. We strive to offer a high-quality service with great results at fair prices. Detailed exterior washes and other exterior cleaning or polishing services are charged by the hour, ranging from $65/hr to $85/hr. Recurring maintenance washes, if done every four weeks or less, are charged by the foot. Fill out our quick, no-hassle estimate request form for a full list of our services and pricing information.

Boat Washing FAQs
Q: How often should I have my boat washed?
A: We highly recommend at least every 3 to 4 weeks. Pollution, road dust, salt spray, bird and spider droppings, and water streaks can all become more permanent or cause staining if not washed off quickly. Regular washes will keep your boat looking clean and ready to use all year round.
Q: What boat washing products and gear do you use?
A: We use mild soaps that work on all finishes. If your boat is ceramic-coated or painted, we use soap with no wax in it. All of our brushes are super soft and we only use microfiber towels for wiping down.
Q: What is typically included in a boat wash?
A: Washing the boat from the top to waterline, scrubbing non-skid, lifting hatches to clean around the edges and gutter tracks, hosing off teak decking, washing glass windows, and washing or cleaning plastic windows where needed.
